EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The UWF swim and dive team continued to score points on day four of NCAA Nationals. The team is ranked sixth with 211.5 points.
Agata Naskret reclaimed her National Championship in the 100 Back and broke her national record that she broke Thursday night during the 400 Medley Relay. The national record going into the race was 51.24; Naskret swam a 50.91 tonight.
She swims in the 200 Back tomorrow as the defending national champion.
Alena Rozova tied for third in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:01.41. This is a personal best for Rozova. She looks to swim the 200 Breast tomorrow.
The Argos 200 Free Relay team came in seventh in the nation. Naskret,
Riley MacVane,
Sofia Kendzior and Rozova swam a 1:32.06. This is a new team record.
MacVane swam in the B Finals for the 500 Free and came in tenth overall. She swam a personal best of 4:54.33.
Livia Rodrigues swam in the B Finals for the 200 Fly. She finished fifteenth overall with a time of 2:05.22.
The Argos look to compete in the final day of competition tomorrow with the 200 Back, 200 Breast, 1650 Free, 1-meter diving and the 400 Free Relay.
