BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Miranda Harmon is the GSC Freshman of the Week, the Gulf South Conference announced Tuesday. It is the first time Harmon has received the honor in her young career with the Argos.
 
The Ponte Vedra, FL native had a highly productive week for UWF, batting 5-for-12 (.417) from the leadoff spot with four runs, along with a walk and a stolen base in three combined games. Her run total is now tied for the conference lead with 49, also leading the Argos. She is fifth in the GSC in hits (56). 
 
She is the first Argo to win GSC freshman of the week since Nicole Mergen won the award back to back on March 11 and 18 of 2025.
