The UWF women's golf team have made the NCAA Division II South Regional, as announced by the NCAA on Sunday afternoon.

The top 18 teams in the South Region earned a spot in the Region Championship which will be held at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn. on May 4 through 6. The Argos were the No. 16 ranked team in the region to make the tournament.

West Florida is coming off a second-place finish in the Gulf South Conference championship last week. Millie Thompson was the GSC individual champion.

The regional championship will feature 54 holes of stoke play with the top four teams advancing to the NCAA Division II National Championships at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
