CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The UWF women's golf team closed out its season on Tuesday at the NCAA Division II South Regional Championship hosted at Cleveland Country Club. The Argos finished in 15th place with a team score of 945.
UWF shot their best round of 311 on the first day led by senior
Millie Thompson who was four over on Monday. Thompson finished the tournament tied for 39th place.
Isabela Urruchua led the Argos tied for 28th place in the final individual standings at +14.
One of the highlights for West Florida came in the second round when both Urruchua and Thompson recorded eagles on the par 5 No. 14 hole.
The three-day tournament was pushed back to two days with 36 holes being played on Tuesday due to poor weather forecasted for Wednesday.
UWF closed out the season with a No. 26 national ranking in the Scoreboard powered by clippd national poll. The Argos finished top five in five different tournaments during the 2025-2026 season.
