PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF Softball picked up three more honors for the 2026 season, as Emma Brice, Hannah Harper and Nicole Mergen were named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All South Region Team. 
 
The awards teams for D2CCA are voted on by the region's Sports Information Directors. The trio earned Second Team All-Region honors, with Harper listed for first base, Brice for second base, and Mergen for third base. 
 
It is Mergen's first All-Region honor of her career. She was also an All-GSC First Team Selection and Golden Glove Team selection. Brice and Harper add this honor to their NFCA All-Region selections and GSC All-Conference selections. 
 
The latter two started in all 58 games for the Argos this season and led the team in many hitting statistics. Harper was top 10 in the GSC in seven different statistics, including ending the season tied for first in the GSC in RBI (61) and third with 71 hits. Harper and Brice were also second and first respectively in the GSC in doubles with 21 and 22 each, fifth and sixth all time in single-season program history. 
 
Mergen led the GSC in home runs with 17, also tied for second all-time in single season program history.
