- Why do you give to UWF Athletics?
I have always supported Athletics here at UWF. I ran Track in high school and have been a "sports junkie" all my life. I consider the National Spelling Bee to be a sport!
- Why do you continue to give annually?
I could never give enough! I see the impact it gives with every article and advertisement UWF presents. There seem to be endless championships in athletics, and that is big for drawing name recognition.
- What would you say is the best thing about supporting UWF Athletics?
Our name is being recognized across the country. I have friends who already know about the switch to Division 1 and are excited.
- What makes you passionate about UWF Athletics?
My involvement with all student-athletes has taught me how special and resilient those people are. How do you juggle practices, tournaments, regular season games and workouts with your academic schedule and the rigors of the classroom? And do it with manners that earn recognition across campus!
As a youth pastor, it has been fun to bring some of my students to watch games and I think it helps drop a little mustard seed of excitement in them. I have been blessed since the beginning of our football team to work each game as the Media Time-out official and it has opened doors to the football team and coaches that I would have never thought possible. Being in McKinney, TX for the 2019 National Championship is still a top-tier experience for me!
