PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF men's golfer Cooper Tendick has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team, the CSC announced on Wednesday.
Tendick earned Second Team honors after a standout season on the course and in the classroom. The senior major held a 3.60 GPA in business administration, and was one of just 45 student-athletes selected to the NCAA Division II Men's At-Large Academic All-America teams.
This marks the second consecutive Academic All-America honor for Tendick, who was also a Second Team selection in 2025.
The CSC Academic All-America At-Large program recognizes top student-athletes from several sports, including golf, lacrosse, wrestling, volleyball, ice hockey, skiing, water polo and others. Six members of the Division II At-Large teams posted a perfect 4.0 GPA, while the full 45-man team combined for a 3.85 GPA.
Tendick adds the honor to a decorated 2025-26 season that also included DII PING All-America recognition, and an appearance in the NCAA National Championship round. He helped lead West Florida through another strong campaign while continuing to represent the Argonauts among the nation's top academic and athletic performers.
In 2025, Tendick led the Argos to their third national championship victory in program history.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist College Sports Communicators with the awards fulfillment aspects of the program.
