Stats Perform Poll

PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF Football has moved up the national polls again and are now ranked No. 17 in the Football Championship Subdivision in both the AFCA and Stats Perform polls.

The Argos jumped in the polls despite having a bye for Week Two of the college football season. Following the 42-14 win on Sept. 5 over No. 24 Central Arkansas UWF officially established itself in the national rankings at No. 22 (AFCA) and No. 20 (Stats Perform).

For the third straight game the Argos will face another nationally ranked opponent.  The team will host No. 14 Austin Peay on Saturday, Sept. 19 at PenAir Field. The sell-out game is one of the most anticipated matchups of the young season featuring a pair of UAC contenders. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
