BATON ROUGE, La. – The Argos finished their non-conference games ending in a 1-1 draw against Southern University.
The team had multiple chances to score after taking 17 total shots compared to the Jaguars' five total shots.
The Jaguars scored first in the 10
th minute.
Kaitlyn Herb put the Argos on the board in the 16
th minute, bringing the score to 1-1.
Rece Grant and
Becca Baldelomar both assisted Herb on the goal.
Herb had five shots with three on frame. This is her second goal of the season, after helping UWF win their first Division I match.
UWF women's soccer starts Atlantic Sun Conference play next Thursday. They will face Stetson again in DeLand, Fla., at 6:00 p.m.
