TROY, Ala. – The UWF women's soccer team wins on the road against Troy 3-1 on Monday afternoon.
The Argos played their first road game and came out with a win. The team looked strong in the first half, having 11 shots.
In the 12
th minute,
Eva Mowery found the back of the net, putting the Argos on the board.
The Argos kept the momentum going into the second half. Freshman
Dolev Ovadya scored her first goal as an Argo in the 52
nd minute, off a header.
Troy was able to find the back of the net in the 80
th minute, putting the score at 2-1.
UWF was able to score after Troy scored on their own goal, putting the score at 3-1.
The Argos continue on the road through the rest of September. They travel to Southeastern Louisiana University on Friday, Sept. 11.
