University of West Florida

Career: Dernelle leaves West Florida as the program's all-time goals and points leader. In three years with the Argonauts she has tallied 56 goals, 34 assists and 146 points.  Her 34 assists are second best all-time in UWF history. A highly decorated player during her time at West Florida, she has been named a two-time GSC First Team selection including the 2007 GSC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. she is also a two-time NSCAA First Team All-South Region and two-time Daktronics All-American.

2009: Daktronics First Team All-America... NSCAA/adidas First Team All-South Region...Daktronics All-South Region First Team...Named to the All-GSC First Team... Named to the GSC All-Tournament Team... Preseason All-GSC Team... Tallied a season high six points on two goals and two assists in the Argos 9-0 win over NAIA Warner Pacific (9/5)... Broke the UWF career points record with a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win at Florida Southern (9/13)...Tallied a goal and an assist in three matches, Florida Southern (9/5), Ouachita Baptist (10/2) and Christian Brothers (10/10)...Recorded the eventual game winner in a 3-0 shutout over Harding (10/4)...

2008: NSCAA/Adidas All-South Region First Team... Daktronics All-South Region Second Team... GSC Player of the Week (10/21)... Started all 26 matches to total 2002 minutes played... Third on the team with 18 goals and 49 points while leading the team with 13 assists... Had a team high 10 game winning goals... Took 104 shots on the season, putting 53 of them on frame... Had five matches with four or more points... Scored multiple goals in three matches...Scored twice in a 5-0 win over Thomas (8/31)... Tallied two goals against GSC foes Alabama-Huntsville (10/17) and West Georgia (10/24)... Scored a goal and assisted in one other in the NCAA Semifinal win over St. Rose (12/4)...

Summer 2008: Played for the Trinidad National Team

2007: Start 16 of the 17 games she appeared in last season..team leader in goals with 24 and second in assists with 10..set the single season record for most points in a season with 58...Selected as a Daktronics All-American...Voted to the All-South Region First Team and the GSC First Team...Scored three goals in a match four times, Georgia Southwestern (8/26), Delta State (10/14), North Alabama (10/19) and Montevallo (10/26)...had a career best three goals and two assists in only 36 minutes against Delta State (10/14)...Scored two goals against Ouachita Baptist (9/28) and West Georgia (10/21)...Had one goal and two assists vs. Thomas (Ga.) (10/28).

University of Mobile (2006): Started all 18 games for the Rams...had nine goals and two assists on the season...Her 20 points was among the team leaders.

Club: Played for Petrotrin under Coach Murffy...Awarded Best midfielder in 2004 and 2006.

High School: Graduated in 2005, and played under Coach Donrick Mascall...Lettered in women[apos]s cricket as well as soccer...Played on secondary School Women[apos]s Soccer All-Star Team.

Personal: Daughter of Derrick Douglas and Donna Mascall Guerra...Has one older brother, Donrick...Majoring in Physical Education.
