2016 GSC All-Tournament Team
2016: Started 44 games, all at shortstop, posting a .325 batting average and team-best .433 on base percentage... Did not commit an error in any conference games, being the only shortstop in the GSC to do so... Greene's six errors on the season was the lowest among all shortstops in the South Region, while his .973 fielding percentage was also the best in the region... Hit first career home run (grand slam) in first round of GSC Tournament against Lee, giving the senior his first career 4 RBI game... Hit .387 with runners on base and led the team with 10 sacrifice bunts on the year... Greene finished his career with 38 career sacrifice bunts, the most in school history... Finished second on the team with 10 stolen bases while only being caught three times... Finished third in program history with 506 career assists, while his 164 assists in 2016 was the fourth most in a single season at UWF... Hit .341 in conference action with a .452 on base percentage... Finished second on the team with a .367 average in road games... Went 5-for-11 (.455) in GSC Tournament with a home run and four RBI... Averaged only one strikeout per 10.3 at bats, good for the seventh best ratio in the GSC... Opened season with a 14-game hitting streak, while ending the season on a eight-game hitting streak... Tied the team season-high with a 22-game on base streak... Matched career-high with three hits in 3-for-4 showing against West Alabama in GSC Tournament.
2015 All-Gulf South Conference Second Team
2015: Started all 48 games at shortstop for UWF, ranking fourth all-time with 167 assists in a single season... ranks fifth all-time with 342 career assists... finished second in school history with 13 sacrifice bunts... also ranks tied-for-second all-time with 28 career sacrifice bunts... hit .314 with a .376 on-base percentage... struck out just 11 times in 159 at bats... recorded six doubles and 16 RBI.
2014: Played in 25 games with 24 starts in his second season... hit .274 with a .369 on base percentage... walked nine times and was hit by a pitch twice while striking out just nine times... went four for five in stolen base attempts... finished third on the team with 80 assists in the field... went 3-for-4 with one run scored 2/7 vs. Rollins
2013: Played in 35 games and started 28 at shortstop as a redshirt freshman… had a productive year at the plate, hitting .318 to rank fifth on the team… hit .333 in 21 games in Gulf South Conference play… scored 15 runs and drove in 14… finished with five steals in seven attempts… played well defensively at shortstop, posting a .963 fielding percentage… had one of his best games at Columbus State on 3/19, hitting 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
2012: Redshirt.
High School: Played shortstop, second base and third base on the baseball team... led his team to a district championship in 2010... was named a first team all-conference shortop in his senior season.
Personal: Son of Joe and Vivian Greene... has one sibling Chris... enjoys hanging out with his friends and going to the beach.
