Game Operations


Welcome
On behalf of Game Operations Staff we welcome your team, staff, and visitors to the University of West Florida. Provided below are important notices for all visiting teams. A Game Operations Staff member will greet your team upon arrival to the athletic facilities and direct them to their assigned areas. We strive to provide a first class experience for all of our visitors. Staff Directory

Bus Drop-off/Parking
For basketball games and volleyball matches, buses will be able to drop off student athletes and coaches in front of the Athletic Field House-Building 54. For soccer matches buses will be able to drop off student athletes and coaches at the east-end of the soccer field parking lot. A Game Operations Staff member will help direct buses and usher student athletes and coaches to their designated areas. Buses for basketball and volleyball teams will be asked to park at the Water Tower Parking Lot (Lot B) after they have dropped off their student athletes and coaches. Buses for the soccer teams will be asked to park at the east-end of the soccer field.

Amenities Request
For any outdoor sporting event in which locker rooms or shower facilities are desired, please provide at least a 24-hour request to ensure that proper arrangements can be made to satisfy those requests. Please submit amenities request(s) to either the Assistant Athletic Director of Events and Facilities or the Game Operations Graduate Assistant. *No towels will be provided for visiting teams.

Gates Open
Gates will open one hour before athletic event start times.

Playing Field
Guests may not enter the playing surface at any time during the contest.

Sportsmanship Statement
The University of West Florida, the Gulf South Conference and the NCAA promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating words or actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Also, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
