<p><strong>Seattle Mariners: </strong>Played one season with the Bellingham Mariners of the Northwest League, a Short-Season Single-A club...In 48 innings of work Bret posted a record of 2-2 with a 3.94 ERA in 29 appearances...</p><p><strong>UWF:</strong> Bret transferred to West Florida from the University of South Alabama, where he played under the legendary Eddie Stanky... Saw action both in the field and on the mound for the Argos... Played in all 54 games for the Argos in 1986...Batted .348 with eight doubles, a triple and two homeruns while driving in 35 runs on the season.. On the mound, Bret compiled a 2-5 record with a 6.85 ERA in 46.1 innings pitched...Made 11 appearances while starting eight of them...</p><p><strong>High School:</strong> At Crestline HS in Ohio, Bret was an All-Conference performer for three years and most valuable player of his team and conference in his senior year.  He was a standout point guard on the Crestline baseketball team and had a college scholarship offers in both sports.</p>
