High School:  Named first-team all-region by Mobile Press Register as a senior after going 7-4 with a 1.06 ERA at Baldwin County HS … Also tossed 10 complete games and struck out 105 batters in 72 1/3 innings pitched … Went 9-2 with a 2.60 ERA and 86 strikeouts in 70 innings pitched and helped lead the Tigers to the Alabama High School Athletic Association 6A state championship series as a junior.
