GSC Player of the Week (3/21)

2017 (SENIOR): Only player on 2017 roster to start all 51 games… Made all starts in right field and saw action at first base… Hit .354 with four home runs and 32 RBI on the year… Stole seven bases in 11 attempts… Led the team with .354 batting average and 67 hits… Finished second on the team with .481 slugging percentage… Led team with .415 on base percentage and 12 doubles… Hit .393 in March with four home runs and 16 RBI… Hit two home runs in series opener against West Georgia and concluded series with a home run in finale to earn GSC Player of the Week honors on 3/21… Hit .381 for that week, including a .500 clip with runners on base… Led the team with three home runs, six RBI, 18 total bases, and a .857 slugging percentage to earn the conference honor... Hit .415 with a team-high four home runs and 12 RBI over UWF’s 10-game winning streak from 3/14 to 3/27… Recorded a team-best .348 batting average in the month of April… Posted a .458 batting average in the team’s final six games of the year… Recorded 5-for-6 day in season finale against Lee to record a career-high five hits… Posted walk-off sacrifice fly in 3-2 GSC Tournament win over West Alabama… Went 4-for-5 with two runs scored against Christian Brothers on 3/27… Tallied career-high four RBI in 2-for-4 performance against Mississippi College on 2/18… Led team with 20 multi-hit games… Finished second on the team with nine multi-RBI showings… Hit a team-best .364 in GSC action... Also led the team with four home runs in conference play… Hit a team-best .382 at home.


2016 (JUNIOR): Recorded 47 starts in right field in 51 games played during 2016 campaign... Finished season with a .303 average while finishing fourth on the team with four home runs... Became first player since 2011 to homer in three consecutive games, doing so from February 7-9 against Florida Southern and Mobile... Hit .500 in bases loaded situations, while hitting .341 when leading off an inning... Finished third on the team with seven multiple RBI games... Posted 12 multi-hit games and strung together a 10-game hitting streak from April 1 - April 23... Hit .349 in conference play, .356 in road games, and .321 against nationally ranked opponents... Committed just one error in right field while posting four outfield assists. 

2014-15 (Lawson State): All-conference in 2015 season... Played 56 games for Lawson State... Hit .339 with a pair of home runs and 28 RBI... Posted .449 on base percentage and swiped 29 bases... Led team in at bats, runs, hits, doubles, triples, RBI, stolen bases, batting average, on base percentage and slugging percentage. 

High School: Played football, basketball and baseball at South Paulding HS from 2009-2013.

Personal: Son of Sandra Pugh… Enjoys fishing.
