Biography

2025 (Northwest Miss. CC): Appeared in 33 games with 32 starts during the 2025 campaign, batting .308 with 36 hits in 117 at-bats. He recorded six doubles and a home run, drove in 14 runs, and scored 28 times while posting a .385 slugging percentage and a .400 on-base percentage. He added nine stolen bases and continued to provide steady defense, finishing the season with a .985 fielding percentage after tallying 126 putouts and seven assists.

2024 (Northwest Miss. CC): Started all 48 games during the 2024 season and delivered a breakout year at the plate, hitting .338 across 160 at-bats. He totaled 54 hits, including 12 doubles, three triples, and six home runs, while driving in 43 runs and scoring 42 times. Martin posted a .563 slugging percentage and a .443 on-base percentage, drawing 29 walks and adding seven hit-by-pitches. He was a consistent threat on the basepaths with 33 stolen bases and committed just one double play all season. Defensively, he was flawless in the field, recording 92 putouts and four assists without an error.

2023 (Fr. at Northwest Miss. CC): Played in 39 games, earning 34 starts...finished with six doubles, three triples, two home runs and 12 runs batted in...had the team's second-highest stolen base total (11-for-12) and the team's fourth-highest slugging percentage (.430)...went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple and four RBIs in an April 4 win against Coahoma...posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 54 putouts and an assist in 55 total chances...off the field, earned a First Team NJCAA All-Academic nod and a 4.0 cumulative GPA...also received President's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll distinction for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.
