One of the most decorated linebackers in program history, Andre Duncombe, Jr. joined the coaching staff in the fall of 2020 as a graduate assistant working with the cornerbacks.
Duncombe was part of the first team of redshirts in 2015 and finished third in program history with 195 total tackles in his four seasons from 2016-19. He also made a school-record 32.5 tackles for loss and was second with 15.5 quarterback sacks and 15 QB hurries.
He made the first tackle in UWF football history with an assisted stop against Ave Maria on Sept. 3, 2016
The Miami, Fla. native graduated from UWF with a degree in Criminal Justice.
He played prep ball at Booker T. Washington High School in Miami, helping lead the team to its third straight state championship in 2014. He was named to the All-Miami-Dade and Keys second team by FloridaHSFootball.com that season.
