Zack Berkowitz joined the UWF football coaching staff in July 2015 as a graduate assistant in charge of equipment and student managers.
 
Berkowitz joins the program after working as the head student manager at Bryant University under Head Coach Martin Fine. In four years at Bryant, Berkowitz was in charge of practice set up and break down, and equipment maintenance for the Bulldogs. Berkowitz also coordinated travel plans and led the student managerial staff.

While serving as a summer intern with the Bulldogs, Berkowitz facilitated campus tours with perspective student-athletes. He also saw the Bulldogs' transition into a Division 1 program where they were ranked as high as No. 21 in the FCS Coaches Poll during the 2014 season.
