Emmanuel Ejeh

Emmanuel Ejeh is in his first season as an assistant coach with the UWF men's basketball program. He joined the University in Sept. 2022 after two years as a graduate assistant at Mississippi State.

In his second season in Starkville, the Bulldogs went 18-16 and received a second-consecutive bid to the NIT. In 2020-21, the Bulldogs went 18-15 and were the NIT National Runner-Up.

Ejeh helped in the development with several players at MSU who now play professionally. Those included Garrison Brooks (New York Knicks), DJ Stewart (Miami Heat), and Iverson Molinar (Wisconsin Herd; NBA G-League). Tolu Smith, a senior at MSU in 2022-23, was the SEC's leading rebounder in 2020-21 and a first team preseason All-SEC selection. 

Ejeh, a native of Abuja, Nigeria, was a 2-year standout at Mississippi Valley State from 2017-19. He was a Second Team All-SWAC honoree in 2018-19 as a team captain during his senior season. He garnered 6.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game. Ejeh compiled five career double-doubles over his 64 appearances for the Delta Devils. 

Before MVSU, Ejeh played two seasons at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, La. He prepped at Southwest Christian Academy in Little Rock, Ark. where he was a NACA All-America pick under Chris Hughes. His team won the NACA National Championship as a senior during the 2014-15 season. Ejeh also was the 2013 NBA Africa Basketball Without Borders three-point contest winner. 

Ejeh earned his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering technology from Mississippi Valley State in 2019 and his Master of Science in sport administration from Mississippi State in 2022. 

Emmanuel is the son of Morris and Victoria Ejeh. His siblings are Thaddeus and Mary Ejeh
