Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2025-26): Earned First Team All-Panhandle Conference honors after appearing in 21 games and making 20 starts... Led the team with 17.0 points per game and a 44.1 three-point percentage while shooting 43.8 percent from the field... Averaged 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game... Earned a spot on the 2026 FCSAA All-Tournament Team and was named FCSAA Player of the Week on two occasions... He scored in double figures 17 times, including eight performances with at least 20 points. He opened the season with a career-high 32 points against Southern Union on Oct. 31.
AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25): Appeared in 18 games for Queens University of Charlotte, including one start... Averaged 4.5 minutes per contest, 3.1 points, 0.6 assists and 0.4 rebounds per game... Recorded a season-high 13 points and two assists against Carolina University. Shine also provided valuable minutes off the bench against Cleveland State in the College Basketball Invitational, scoring 12 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting performance while adding two assists and one rebound in 10 minutes.
PERSONAL: Was named a McDonald’s All-American nominee as a senior at Brewster Academy, where he helped the program finish 27-7 and earn a top-10 national ranking from ESPN and MaxPreps... Appeared in 20 games and averaged 7.2 points per contest... Played two seasons at Augusta Christian and helped lead the Lions to back-to-back SCISA state championships before transferring to Brewster Academy... He averaged 23.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 53 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range... Earned consecutive selections to the All-State Tournament Team and received All-Region honors as a junior. He scored more than 1,000 points during his high school career
