2022 Winter Academic Honor Roll

2021-22 (Gr.)- Played in all 29 games this season, making three appearances in the starting lineup…Henningfield had a season high 27 points and nine rebounds in the Argos final game against Lee on March 1…Against Spring Hill on Nov.24 led the team in scoring with 19 points…Averaged 6 ppg throughout the season....The highest free-throw percentage on the team at 88 percent after going 24-27 from the line....Averaged 12.4 minutes per game.

2019-20: Earned All-MIAC Second Team honors for the second year in a row… Started all 25 games for the Scots… Shot 47 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from the three-point line… Nearly averaged a double-double with 17.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game… Added 36 assists and 25 blocks… Scored a season-high 35 points on 4-of-7 shooting from beyond the arch to help defeat Crown 92-85 on Nov. 21… Received MIAC Academic All-Conference honors....SAAC Representative and Student Athlete Mentor.

2018-19: Earned All-MIAC Second Team honors… Named to the MIAC All-Academic team… Led the Scots in scoring while also ranking fourth in the MIAC, averaging 18.4 points per game… Had the second-highest field goal percentage (46.6%) and the highest three-point percentage (39.2%) on the team… Racked up 187 rebounds on the season, which ranked seventh in the MIAC… Was tied for fourth in the league in blocks, with a team-leading 29 on the season… Added 26 assists and eight steals on the year… Reached double figures in 23 of his 25 games played, including nine games with over 20 points, and two games with 30 points or more… Scored a season-high 32 points in the season-opener against North Central on Nov. 8, shooting 65.0% in the game… Had his other 30-point game against Augsburg on Jan. 21 where he also totaled 17 rebounds.  

2017-18: Named to the MIAC All-First Year Team after averaging 15.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game… Led all MIAC first year players in both categories… Ranked fifth in the MIAC in scoring and sixth in rebounding… Recorded five double-doubles and seven games with at least 20 points… Tallied a career-high 30 points to go with 11 rebounds in the season finale at Augsburg Feb. 17… Had 25 points in a win at Saint Mary’s Jan. 13… Grabbed a season-best 13 rebounds at St. Thomas Jan. 31… Blocked five shots and had 20 points and 10 boards against Augsburg Jan. 20… Also made four threes en route to 26 points at Saint John’s Jan. 17.

High School: Attended Lyman High School. Henningfield averaged 12 ppg and 7 rpg... Individual honors included All County Team and All Academic Team.

Personal: Son of Steve and Lori Henningfield...Has one sibling Samantha Henningfield... Both of his parents played collegiate basketball...Pursuing a masters in engineering... After graduation plans on playing professionally overseas and working in the civil engineering sector...Hobbies include cooking, spike ball, building LEGO sets and watching Disney Plus...Jackson has been on five Disney cruises.

In my spare time I enjoy reading Star Wars novels and trying to cook...Favorite midnight snack is Nature's Bakery Fig Bars...Favorite NBA  teams are the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets...My biggest role model is Dirk Nowitzki or Walt Disney...If I could spend a day with any historical figure I'd choose Nikola Tesla...My dream job is to become a civil engineer for Walt Disney Co...The stimulating thing about college is the sense of community...My favorite childhood toy was Star Wars Actions Figures...If I could instantly become an expert in something I'd choose Astrophysics...My favorite social network is Instagram...Few people know this but I am a huge a capella fan...Favorite movie star is Mark Hamill..Favorite animal is a giraffe...Biggest fear is being alone and spiders...
