2023 Winter Academic Honor Roll

2022-23 (Jr.): Started all 28 games in his second season with the Argonauts...Led team in multiple categories including free-throws made (102), total points (462), points per game (16.5) and assists (90)...Finished sixth in the GSC in scoring (16.5), second in three-point field goal percentage (.441), seventh in free-throw percentage (.816) and ninth in minutes per game (34.2)...Posted 15 straight double-digit point performances (11/26-1/19)...Had back-to-back 20-point contests in victories over Georgia College and Valdosta State (12/15 and 12/18)...Tallied 37 points on 50 percent shooting and a perfect 10-10 free-throw mark in game against Montevallo (12/31)...Concluded season with seven-straight double-digit point contests, including 27-point performance in home finale victory over Montevallo (2/18)...Had stretch of 10 consecutive contests with three or more assists (1/14-2/23).

2022 Winter Academic Honor Roll

2021-22 (So.): Appeared in all 29 games this season, earning eight starts.. Averaged 22.1 minutes per game… The sixth highest free throw percentage in the GSC at 80 percent…Scored a season high 21 points against Shorter on Jan.8…Scored in double figures 16 times throughout the course of the season…Averaged 9.4 ppg, the third best on the team...A team high 78 assists, averaging 2.8 per game. 

2020-21 (Alabama State):  In one season at Alabama State University averaged 9.3 PPg 2RPG 1 APG 36% 3PT . Scored a season high 17 points against Southern University on 2/22/21.

Junior College: During his freshman year at Beville State Community College averaged 25.4 PPG (5th in the nation)... Led Region 22 in scoring...41.5 % FG ...41.3% 3pt... 87.1 FT....3.6 RBG...Scored a career High 42 Points against Walter State Community College on 11/29/19... Earned NJCAA Honorable Mention All American Honors, Region 22 Player of the Year, and First Team All-Conference.

High School: Attended Woodstock High and Osborne High School...During high school played basketball and ran cross county...Averaged 24 ppg, six rebounds and three assists...Scored a career high 39 points...Throughout high school scored over 1,000 points,  received Honorable mention All-State, All-Cobb County team, and Multiple All-Region teams.

Personal: Born on June 4, 1999...Son of Rob Tate and Teri Chester...Has two siblings LaRob Terrell and LaNiyah Tate...Majoring in Psychology.

FUN FACTS: After graduation plans on playing professional basketball and becoming a psychologist...Hobbies include watching college football and going to the movies...
