2023-24 (Jr.): Appeared in 17 games, starting six in his first season with UWF...Averaged 19.5 minutes per contest, with 43 percent shooting mark...Opened season with nine points, two rebounds, one assist and a steal in win over Fort Valley State (11/11)...Totaled first double-digit scoring performance in contest against Lee (11/27)...Recorded 14 points on season-highs in free-throws made (8) and steals (4) in match-up against Union (12/15)...Tallied season-highs in points (17), field goals made (7) and rebounds (5) in game at Valdosta State (1/2)...Added season-best seven assists in contest against West Alabama (1/11).

Transferred To UWF From Monmouth Prior To 2023-24 Season

2022-23 (Junior):

-Played in all 33 games, making 15 starts
-Averaged 20.5 minutes per contest, while shooting 37 percent from the field
-Led Hawks with a 77.3% percent free-throw shooting mark (minimum 25 attempts)
-Second on the squad in assists (71) and fourth in steals (33)
-Notched eight points with one rebound & a steal at Virginia (11/11)
-Registered back-to-back double-digit scoring performances against Rider & Manhattan (11/30 & 12/4)
-Tallied 11 points and five assists at Syracuse (12/12)
-Recorded season-high 18 points in contest against Hampton (3/4)

2021-22 (Sophomore):
-Played in 33 games off the bench
-77.8% free throw shooting was third on the Hawks
-28 steals was good for third on the team
-Finished with nine points in win over Towson, going 5-5 from the line (11/13)
-Netted 11 points on 4-6 at Marist (1/16)
-Finished with 11 against Niagara (1/30)
-Had 10 points at Manhattan (2/11)

2020-21 (Freshman): Played in all 20 games and started 14 as a true freshman… Averaged 5.1 points… Finished second on team in assists with 39… Led Hawks with 36 steals… Had 12 multi-steal games… Had back-to-back seven-point contests on 12/28 and 1/3… Had eight points and four steals vs. Marist (1/9)…  Also added eight points and four steals vs. Quinnipiac in a win (1/16)… Dished out season-best six assists at Manhattan (2/5)… Season-high 13 points came at Iona (2/19).

HIGH SCHOOL: Ruth, a native of Hillside, NJ, played guard at Don Bosco and was named First Team All-Big North Division, First Team All-North Jersey and First Team All-Bergen County as a senior. In addition, Ruth was the MVP of the Dennis Gregory Classic through the Hoop Group as well as an All-State selection by NJHoops.com. Ruth posted five 20+ point games as a senior, including a 27-point outburst in a win over Newburgh Free Academy. He finished his senior campaign averaging 13.6 points, 4.7 assists and 2.3 steals with a field goal percentage sitting at 53% for the Ironmen. He helped his team to a 14-6 record in 2019-20, including a 9-1 home mark.
