2018 (SENIOR): Started 18 of 18 games played, totaling 1086 minutes for the Argonauts... earned his third straight All-GSC selection... scored four goals and recorded one assist... scored in the conference championship game vs. Spring Hill... Had 9 points and recorded 28 shots.

2017 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2017 (JUNIOR): Started 16 of his 16 games played totaling 1017 minutes for the Argonauts. Bethell finished two goals and tallied two assists for a total of six points in his 2017 season. Bethell scored his first of the season against Delta State. In the matchup with Mobile Bethell added an assist. In an overtime win against Shorter, Bethell got his second and final goal of the season. Bethell got his final assist against Auburn Montgomery.

2016 (SOPHMORE):  Made 17 starts on the year and led the GSC with eight assists on the year… Finished the season recording a point in seven of his last eight games, becoming the first Argonaut to do so since Daniel Martini in 2010… Became the first UWF player to lead the conference in assists since Frank Cope in 2010… Team posted a 6-1 record in games which he recorded an assist… Team went 8-1-1 in games which he recorded a point… Bethell’s eight assists on the year were the most by an Argonaut since Fernando Silveira recorded nine in 2013… Was one of just five 2016 Preseason All-GSC selections to go on and earn All-GSC honors, and one of just three to be named First Team status… Only player in the GSC to be named an All-Academic Team selection and an All-GSC First Team honoree… Posted one-goal, one-assist games in back-to-back wins against Lee (10/9/16) and Spring Hill (10/16/16)… Scored the game-tying goal with 28 seconds remaining in regulation to salvage a 2-2 tie against West Alabama on 10/23/16… Posted a two-assist game in first round of GSC Tournament against Alabama Huntsville on 11/1/16… Scored the only goal in UWF’s 1-0 GSC Tournament semifinal win over Shorter on 11/4/16… Finished tied for the team lead with 16 points, second on the team with 28 shots, and second on the team with 17 shots on goal… Finished ninth in the GSC with 16 points.

GSC Freshman of the Week 9/8
2015 (FRESHMAN):  Earned first letter, playing in 18 games and starting 12... Tallied three goals and an assist on the year... Scored game-tying goal in season opener against Tampa on 9/5... Scored goals in back-to-back games vs. Union on 9/25 and against No. 10 Christian Brothers on 9/27... Started all three GSC Tournament games... Ranked fifth on the team in points (7) and shots (24). 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Lettered in soccer all four years playing center midfield at Navarre High School … Team captain for four years … Named Pensacola News Journal Player of the Year in 2015 … Member of the 2014 and 2015 District Championship team.
 
PERSONAL:  Son of Neil and Kirsten Bethell … Has one sister, Caitlin … Biology major … Enjoys traveling and watching Tottenham Hotspurs FC.
