2017 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll

2017 (SENIOR): Senior Pete Love started six of sixteen games played and totaled 788 minutes on the field for the Argonauts. Love would finish the 2017 season with three goals for a total of six points for the Argonauts. In an important win that would launch the Argonauts into a GSC playoff position, Love scored his first goal of the season. Love followed that performance with two more goals against Auburn Montgomery.

2016 ADA Academic Achievement Award
2015 (SOPHMORE):  Earned second letter, playing 12 games off the bench in 2015... Played a defensive midfield role, playing minutes in two of the Argos shutouts this year... Played valuable minutes during GSC Tournament run. 

2015 ADA Academic Achievement Award
2014 GSC All-Academic Team
2014 (FRESHMAN):  Love appeared in 10 games for the Argos in 2014 and also made two starts as midfielder... Logged over 300 minutes for UWF and scored his first career goal against Flagler on 10/12.

2013: Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from Lawton Chiles high school in Tallahassee, Fla. where he was a three year letter winner for the schools soccer program… Voted team captain his senior year and was a member of a team that advanced to the Regional Quarterfinals… Earned All-Big Bend first team honors in 2013 and 2012 and was selected to the FACA All-State team his senior year… Was a key member of a team that was District Champions three years in a row… Earned FACA All-State Academic team honors in 2013 and 2012 as well.

PERSONAL:  Son of Pete Love Jr. and Teresita Vivo… Has an older sister Marissa who previously played for the UWF women’s soccer team… Biochemistry major.
