<strong>2005:</strong>Put together one of the best seasons by a pitcher in West Florida history…Along with conference and regional recognition, Browning became just the fourth Argonaut in softball history to earn All-America Honors…Finished with a 35-5 record, and a school record of 0.68 earn run average…Browning’s 360 strikeouts shattered the old record by 133 strikeouts…Set the GSC single season strikeout record…Along with averaging 10 strikeouts per game, Browning set the West Florida and GSC record with 69.0 consecutive scoreless innings and eight consecutive shut outs…Browning was named GSC Pitcher of the Week four times.<br /><br /><strong>Gulf Cost CC:</strong> Compiled a 25-9 record with a 1.40 earned run average in two seasons under Head Coach Susan Painter…Added 200 strikeouts, nine shutouts and two saves in 234 innings pitched…A First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-State and All-Freshman Team Selection in 2003… A 2004 All-Conference selection… Teammate of current Argonauts Erica Olson and Nora Dunham.<br /><br /><strong>High School:</strong> Posted 56 wins, 585 strikeouts and a career 0.78 earned run average in four seasons…Compiled a 20-4 record with a 0.40 earned run average and 202 strikeouts in her senior season… A four-year All-Bi-City selections…A two-year All-Region and All-State selection…Named the 2000 All-Region Most Valuable Player and Player of the Year…Selected as the 2001 Columbus Ledger Player of the Year…Recognized as the 2001 All-Region Player of the Year…Holds the Georgia high school record for most career strikeouts…number retired.<br /><br /><strong>Club:</strong> Has played for the Columbus Challengers (1197-1999), Georgia Challengers (2000-01), North Gwinnett Comets (2001) and the Atlanta Vipers (2002)…Compiled a record of 102-31 with a 0.87 earned run average and 897 strikeouts from 1998-2001. <br /><br /><strong>Personal:</strong> Daughter of Joseph and Deborah Browning…Mother played softball at Columbus College…Born on January 20, 1984…Majoring in middle school math and English education.
