2010: Made one start in 10 appearances as a freshman... Collected her first career RBI in win over Tampa (2/21)... First career hit came against Miles College (2/27).

High School: Was a four-year starter as a catcher... Earned District 17, 5A All-District Honorable Mention Catcher award... Helped her team to Bi-District and Area Championships in 2009... Was an All-District Academic honoree... Played summer ball with the Carolina Wildcats and Virginia Stars.

Personal: Daughter of Edward and Teresa Self... Has a sister, Kimberly... Knows sign language and has spent time interpreting for deaf baseball players... Enjoys sports, shopping, and playing with her dogs... Plans to become a neonatal physician and become certified to interpret in the medical field.
