2016-17 NSISC Scholar Athlete

2016-17: Finishes career holding top-five spots in three events in UWF history -- the 100 Breast (1:06.00), 200 Breast (2:24.48), and 100 IM (1:00.92)... Took a 7th-place finish in the 200 Breast at the NSISC Championships, with a 2:29.12...  Finished 12th in the 200 IM at NSISC Championships (2:11.30)... Took points in the 100 Breast at NSISC Championships, finishing 12th with a 1:07.48.

2015-16: Recorded personal bests in the 100 Breast and 200 IM at NSISC Championships, scoring points in each event for UWF... Time of 1:00.92 in 100 IM ranks third in program history, her 2:24.48 in the 200 IM ranks fourh, and her time of 1:06.00 in 100 Breast ranks fifth.

2014-15 NSISC Scholar Athlete

2014-15: Swam the fourth fastest time in school history in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.74) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:24.48) at the NSISC Championships… was a part of UWF’s school record relay team in the 400 free at the NSISC Championships…  also ranked in the team’s top 10 in the 50-yard freestyle (25.45), 100-yard backstroke (1:00.06) and 200-yard individual medley (2:09.76)… earned NSISC Scholar Athlete status.

2013-14 (North Florida): Member of the school’s fastest 200-medley relay (1:48.34) and second fastest 400-medley relay (3:53.27) of the season… tallied the fourth fastest 100-backstroke (59.35), fifth fastest 100-breaststroke (1:07.02) and seventh fastest 200-breastroke (2:27.66).

High School: Attended Colegio Universtas in Santos, Brazil… placed first at the 2012 Swimming National Championship in Brazil.

Personal: Daughter of Sergio and Maria Cristina de Paula … has four siblings; Mariana, Daniel, Lucas and Paulo… sister Mariana also swims for UWF… her brother, Paulo, swims at the University of Hawai’i… majoring in Hospitality, Recreation and Resort Management.
