2007: A knee injury kept Kovel sidelined for the 2007 season but was named to the President's List in Fall 2007 and Dean's List in Spring 2008.

2006: Appeared in 112 games, the seventh-highest single-season total in school history... Her five service aces against Michigan Tech (9/2) were tied for the fourth-highest individual match total... Collected 14 kills, 10 digs and four service aces in the win over Edinboro (8/26)... Tallied 13 kills in the Albany State win (9/8)... Posted a season-high 17 digs twice against West Georgia (9/16 & 10/3)... Recorded 14 kills in the win over Valdosta State (9/12)... Finished with nine kills and no errors on 18 attacks in the win over Montevallo (9/30)... Tallied nine matches of double-figure dig totals.

Charleston Southern: Played under head coach Danyel Bellush... Played in every game as a freshman... Recorded 325 digs, which was second on the team... Posted 21 service aces, third on the team... Recorded 17 double-figure dig total matches... Accumulated a season-high 24 digs in the season finale against Coastal Carolina (11/11)... Tallied 20 digs twice, against Liberty (10/7) and UNC-Asheville (10/28)... Named to the Charleston Southern All-Tournament Team as a libero.

Minooka Community High School: Earned four volleyball letters for the Indians... A three-time most valuable player... Earned two all-conference selections... Voted most valuable player of the Joliet area in her senior season after leading the area with 346 kills, 359 digs and 329 service points... Selected to two all-tournament teams and the all-conference team as a senior... Finished her three year varsity career with over 800 kills and 800 digs... Earned one letter in basketball... Earned the Vandernyden Award, the award that goes to the senior who is the best all-around player and person, as a senior... A four-year honor roll student.

Club: A member of the UNO Volleyball Club from 2000 to 2005... Qualified for junior nationals as a member of the U17 team.

Personal: Daughter of Charles and Tina Kovel... Has two siblings, Chase and Tara... Relative, Kirk Kovel played football for the University of Colorado... Majoring in communications.
