Jasmine King joins the UWF Volleyball Coaching Staff in 2025 as the Volunteer Assistant Coach.
King has served as the Executive Director of the West Florida Waves Volleyball Club since August 2021. Before that she served as the Assistant Director of the club from 2017-2020. She comes with a successful coaching resume as the previous head coach for Gulf Breeze High School. King led the varsity team as head coach from 2016-2025. In her time at Gulf Breeze, she was named AVCA 30 under 30 in 2021, Pensacola News Journal Coach of the Year in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and FACA 6A Coach of the Year 2024. She led the program to 7 District Titles in 9 Seasons and were the 2024 State Runner up’s.
Prior to coaching, King was a 4 year Varsity member of the Gulf Breeze High School Volleyball Team, she was captain her senior year (2010), and led the Dolphins to their first ever Final Four appearance in 2010 where they finished the season with 29 wins and 1 loss. She currently stands as second in career kills. She went on to receive a full ride Division I scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg, Miss. where she played the Middle Blocker position. She was team captain her senior year, as well as earning 2nd team All Conference Honors for Conference USA. She finished her college playing career with 999 kills.
