Sloane FitzHenry is entering her second season at UWF where she is a graduate assistant with the women's volleyball program. She is pursuing a Masters in Environmental Science.

She was a 5-year letter winner at Mississippi College from 2019-23 where she was an accomplished middle blocker for coach Shawna Laurendine. During her career, FitzHenry appeared in 103 matches while helping the Lady Choctaws to four Gulf South Conference Tournament appearances and one Spring Championship Series event, their first postseason events since 2009. As a redshirt sophomore in 2021, she helped guide her team to the GSC Semifinals against 32-1 UWF, where she led the team with eight kills in a 3-1 loss to the Argos. The next season, she was part of a team that recorded a program-best 23-7 overall record and 12-4 mark in GSC play.Â

She completed her time in Clinton among the all-time leaders in MC history, ranking third in block solos (75), fourth in block assists (163) and fourth in total blocks (238). She finished her redshirt junior season in 2022 with 29 solo blocks, tying for the eighth-most in a season in program history. She is tied for the most aces in a match with seven at West Alabama in her final season and tied for third for solo blocks in a match with five against Montevallo in 2022. She ranks tenth all-time in sets played in program history with 363.

For her career, FitzHenry tallied 485 kills with an average of 1.34 per set and a hitting percentage of .183 to go with 120 digs, 238 total blocks, 61 aces and 25 assists across 363 sets played.

FitzHenry graduated from MC with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and was a 4-time GSC Fall Honor Roll member. She is a native of Houston, Texas, where she was an All-District performer at Kingwood High School while playing club ball for the Woodlands Revolution and Xcel.
