2023 (So.): Moved into the primary setter rotation … Racked up 332 assists through 94 sets, as well as 163 digs and 19 aces … Reached double digits in assists in 18 matches with three double-doubles … Had a career outing in the opener vs. Wheeling (8/31) with 25 assists and had a season-best 16 digs vs. Lewis (9/16) … Career-best three aces vs. Florida Southern (10/21). 
 
2022 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll  

2022 (Fr.): Started out as DS, playing in 97 sets … Scooped 224 digs with 36 assists and 21 aces … Reached career high of 18 digs vs. Shorter (10/7) … Had double-digit digs eight times … Reached other personal bests in GSC Championship, with six assists vs. Montevallo in semifinals (11/12) and two aces vs. Union in the finals match (11/13).

Enrolled at UWF in the Spring 2022 semester after graduating HS early.

PREP: Was a 3-year letter winner at both Buchholz HS and Trinity Catholic ... Compiled 1,677 assists, 485 digs, as well as 95 aces in her time at both schools ... Helped lead TC to a state championship in 2020 ... Was part of 3 District Championships and 2 Regional Champions during her prep years ... Played club for the Ocala Power United Volleyball Club where she and her team were crowned 2020 AAU National Champions while she was named the 2020 AAU MVP ... In the classroom, Sanchez graduated with honors and the President's Award from her high school ... Also a member of the Anchor Club, Green Club, FFA, Ambassadors, Debate club, and KEY club.

PERSONAL: Born on April 23, 2003 in Gainesville, Fla. ... Daughter of Lourdes Sancerni and Diego Sanchez and Amy Sanchez ... Has two sisters, Mackenzie and Arianna ... Enjoys hanging out with friends and watching Netflix ... Communications major ... Hopes to become a sports broadcaster for the SEC Network after graduation.
