Thomas Baril

Thomas Baril joined the athletics department in August 2024 and is currently in his first year as a Graduate Assistant for Sports Performance. He is responsible for oversight and development of strength and conditioning for UWF Volleyball and assists in the development of strength and conditioning for UWF Football. Thomas came to West Florida after serving as a strength and conditioning intern for Texas A&M Football and Olympic Sports. During his time at Texas A&M, he also served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Women’s Lacrosse club and personal trainer for Rec Sports. In addition to Texas A&M, Thomas has extensive coaching experience with the Sports Academy, D1 Training, Performance Course and Michael Johnson Performance.

A native of Allen, Texas, Thomas graduated from Texas A&M in 2024 with a degree in Applied Exercise Physiology and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Sports Performance and Coaching. He enjoys reading, cooking and spending time outdoors.
