Santiago Kearney is in his second season as a graduate assistant after transferring to UWF to play his final season in 2022-23.

He played 19 singles matches for the Argos, going 10-5 overall with a 7-2 record from the No. 3 position and 3-3 record from the No. 4 position, earning All-GSC Second Team honors for his efforts. He finished 1-1 against nationally-ranked opponents, including a clinching win over No. 75 Pietro Martinetti from No. 8 Columbus State. In doubles, he went 1-1 with partner Enzo Silveira Bomfim as the No. 3 doubles team.

Prior to arriving in Pensacola, he played his first three seasons for Ouachita Baptist. His most decorated campaign at OBU was his junior season in 2020-21, in which he earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA honors at No. 2 singles and Second Team All-MIAA at No. 1 doubles with Francisco Oliveira. He went 9-5 in singles, with three of his five losses coming to players who finished the year ranked in the top 45, playing 13 of 16 singles matches at Line 2. He started the season with a win over Emile Le Terrier, who finished the spring ranked No. 4. As a sophomore, he posted a 5-3 singles record in a spring season cut short by COVID-19 one year after he picked up singles and doubles wins in each of his first two career dual matches.

A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Kearney earned his Bachelor's in Sports Management from UWF and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration.
