Lendward Griffin (Jacksonville, Fla./Ribault HS) who set a new career-high with 25 points, while also grabbing 13 rebounds.
Valdosta State got to a fast start in the game by scoring a new season high 57 points in the first half. West Florida just couldn't match the Blazers from long distance after VSU went 10-for-20 from 3-point range in the half. West Florida scored 42 points in the half, their highest mark in the first half all season. UWF was led by Griffin who scored 15 points in the half.
By the end of the game, the Blazers had set a new school record with 21 3-pointers made in the game. West Florida scored a season-high 95 points in the game, but couldn't match the shooting from their opponent. Sophomore
Deangelo Legrier (Orlando, Fla./Edgewater HS) recorded his sixth double-double of the season after he scored 19 points and pulled in 12 rebounds.
A total of four Argos scored in double-digits for West Florida including sophomore
Justin Williams (Tallahassee, Fla./Leon HS) who scored 14 points and went 4-for-6 from 3-point range. Freshman
Emanuele Montaguti (Cesena, Italy/Istituto Technico Agrario ITAS) added 13 points in 14 minutes of play.
