PENSACOLA, Fla. – Kyle Hamner drew a walk-off, bases-loaded walk to win game one 2-1 in 12 innings, and
Ledarious Clark blasted a two-run, walk-off homer to win game two 5-4 as the West Florida baseball team swept a doubleheader against Lee Saturday at Jim Spooner Field.
The Argonauts (18-11, 12-8) came back in dramatic fashion in both games to defeat the Flames (17-12-1, 8-10-1).
"These were some great home victories today in conference play," UWF coach
Mike Jeffcoat said. "Our team has been struggling, so it was a great sweep today.
"I can't say enough about the way Nagem and our relievers pitched in game one and the way Stevens threw in game two. Then of course Clark with the big homer. I'm really proud of these guys, and hopefully we can keep the momentum going."
