PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF athletic department has announced that it is providing free tickets for Saturday's NCAA Playoff game at West Alabama to the first 150 UWF students.
UWF Football Student Ticket/Vouchers for the NCAA Super Regional 2 Championship Game will be available at the University Commons Service Desk on campus, beginning at Noon on Wednesday, Nov. 29th.
The 150 student ticket vouchers will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are limited to one ticket voucher per student. Individuals must have a valid UWF Student ID to pick up their ticket voucher from the University Commons Service Desk. Students will need to take the ticket voucher and their valid UWF Student ID to the Tiger Stadium Ticket Window the day of the game to redeem one (1) complimentary student ticket.
Additionally, general admission tickets are on sale for $15 and can be
purchased online here via UWAAthletics.com or at the stadium on game day.
UWF (9-3) advanced to the regional finals with a 17-14 win at 25th-ranked West Georgia last week. Top-seeded and 17th-ranked West Alabama (10-2) defeated Delta State 27-20 at home on Saturday after receiving a bye into the semifinals. Both teams bring 4-game win streaks into the contest.
The Tigers defeated the Argonauts, 35-18, in Livingston five weeks ago on October 28.
The winner will advance to the national semifinals on December 9. The NCAA will reseed the four Super Regional champions following the completion of Saturday's quarterfinal contests.
