WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Argos suffered a tough loss in their road opener on Friday night, losing to Rollins College by a final score of 3-2. The Tars scored in the last minute of regulation to give them the lead and eventually the victory.
 
FIRST HALF: The first half was all Tars when it came to the scoreboard, as they scored two goals within two minutes of each other in the 31^st minute and the 33^rd minute. The Argos dominated time of possession with 80% in the first half, but were held to only two shots the entire half.

SECOND HALF: West Florida responded fast in the second half scoring a goal one minute into the half. Junior Jessica Quixley picked up her first goal of the season in the 60^th minute off of a header from a corner kick to tie the game at two. Then the Tars scored in the 89^th minute to win the game 3-2.

OVERALL STATS: UWF outshot Rollins 15-8. West Florida had twelve corner kicks in tonight's match, while holding the Tars to only four.
 
NEXT UP: The Argos will take on Albany State at the UWF Soccer Complex on Sunday at 3pm CT in Pensacola, Florida. Albany State is (2-0) after beating Auburn-Montgomery tonight by a final score of 3-1. UWF is (2-0) all-time against Albany State and defeated the Golden Rams 5-0 last year in Albany, Georgia.
