FIRST HALF: Freshman Anita Daníelsdóttir scored the only goal of the match off of a free kick assist from
Celine Rumpf in the 19
th minute to give the Argos the 1-0 victory.
SECOND HALF: The Argos outshot the Lions 10-1 in the second half, and got multiple good looks from inside the box.
OVERALL STATS: Time of possession favored the Argos 59% to 41% and outshot Saint Leo 20-2. UWF had eight corner kicks this afternoon, while not allowing the Lions to get a single one.
NEXT UP: The Argonauts will head to Memphis, Tennessee to take on Christian Brothers University (4-1) to open up Gulf South Conference action on Friday at 5 pm CT. Then they will finish up their road trip on Sunday at Union University (1-2) at 1pm CT.
