NSISC CHAMPIONSHIPS HOMEPAGE
CLEVELAND, Miss. – The 12th-ranked University of West Florida women's swimming and diving team will attempt to win its third New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference championship in program history on Wednesday in Cleveland, Mississippi. Joining UWF in the field will be No. 9 Delta State, Henderson State, Ouachita Baptist, Texas-Permian Basin and conference newcomer Montevallo.
The four-day meet will run from Wednesday morning through Saturday night, with prelims each day at 10 am and a finals session each night at 5 pm (except Saturday's is at 4 pm) at the Ronnie Mayers Aquatics Center in Cleveland. Fans can follow along with the action through Delta State's video portal or their live results link, both of which are linked above.

There are multiple Argonauts that have recorded times that rank in the top five in the NSISC this year, withÂ
Rizzetto leading the way with conference-best times in six different events: 50 Free (23.09), 100 Free (49.85), 200 Free (1:49.92), 200 IM (2:01.52), 100 Fly (54.43) and the 100 Back (55.59).
Yael Danieli is the NSISC leader in both the 200 Back (2:02.11) and the 400 IM (4:24.21).
Morgan Ayers has the best 100 Breast time in the conference with a finals time of 1:02.33.
Tierney ranks third in the NSISC in the 200 Free with a finish of 1:52.54 and
Lauren Jonsson has the third fastest time in the 500 Free event with the time 5:03.15.
Freshman
Kelsey DeJesus leads the conference in both the 1 M and 3 M six dives events, posting a score of 281.50 in the 1 M and 277.73 in the 3 M.
Emilie Hunter has the second best score posted in the NSISC this season in the 3 M six dives event with 260.63 points.

The Argonauts already faced Montevallo, Ouachita Baptist and Delta State this year, defeating all three by the following scores: Montevallo 202-35, Ouachita Baptist 145-59 and Delta State 176-123. UWF also matched up against Delta State in the Delta Diving Invitational earlier this year in Cleveland and beat the Lady Statesmen 87-59.
UWF finished second at the meet in its first year of competition in 2014, before winning the NSISC title in both 2015 and 2016.
West Florida placed third at the NSISC Championships last year with a total of 770 points in Head Coach
Phil Kraus' first year at the helm.
