CLEVELAND, Miss. – The UWF Swim and Dive team competed in the Delta State Thanksgiving Invite from Thursday to Sunday, and came out on top with 1,316.5 points. They competed against Delta State, Rhodes College, and Henderson State.
 
Thursday
Sofia Kendzior finished first in the 1000 Free with a time of 10:13.71. This was also an NCAA B cut for Kendzior. Riley MacVane and Tori Johnston also made B cuts in the 1000 Free. MacVane came in second with a time of 10:15.87, and Johnston came in third with a time of 10:16.74.
 
Shannah Dillman, MacVane, Johnston, and Kendzior finished in first in the 800 Free Relay, with a combined time of 7:29.39.
 
Friday
In the 500 Free, four Argos received NCAA B cuts. Kendzior, Johnston, MacVane, and Ellie Dimig all made the B cuts. Kendzior finished in first (4:56.45) and Johnston in second (4:59.12).
 
Livia Rodrigues finished in first in the 200 IM, receiving an NCAA B cut. She swam a 2:03.95. Dillman finished in third and also received an NCAA B cut, with her time of 2:04.95.
 
In the 50 Free, Agata Naskret finished in first with a time of 22.53. She made an NCAA B cut with this time. Alena Rozova also receives an NCAA B cut in this event. She swam a 23.34.
 
Naskret, Hollace Stokes, Kendzior, and Rozova received an NCAA B cut in the 200 Free, with a time of 1:32.69.
 
In the diving well, Adriana Mieses-Sanchez finished first in the 3-meter diving event. She scored 468.60. She is 6^th overall in program history with this score. Katie Murphy finished with a score of 430.80, and Julia Hirt was behind her with a score of 428.85. The freshman moves up to fifth all-time in program history.
 
Saturday
Naskret swam an impressive 51.26 in the 100 Back. This time is an NCAA record, a new team record, and made an NCAA A cut.
 
Rodrigues made another NCAA B cut in the 400 IM, with a time of 4:25.12. Kendzior finished first in the 200 Free and made another NCAA B cut with a 1:49.34. Rozova (1:01.80) and Stokes (1:03.85) made B cuts in the 100 Breast.
 
Sunday
In the 1650 Free, MacVane made another NCAA B cut, after finishing in first with a time of 17:12.49. Dimig came in third with a time of 17:41.55.
 
Naskret made another B cut in the 200 Back. She finished in first again with her time of 1:53.84. Kendzior made a B cut in the 100 Free (50.71). Rozova made another B cut in the 200 Breast (2:15.33).
 
Back in the diving well, Murphy finished first with a score of 471.90. Mieses-Sanchez finished second with a score of 454.65.
