Julianne Gaubron is a former women's soccer student-athlete and a member of the 2012 NCAA National Championship team, where she also served as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President. Julianne has her Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and her Masters degree in Strategic Communications and Leadership from UWF. She has supported the Argos during her time there and well after her graduation. We cannot thank Julianne enough for her continued support and all she has done for UWF.

·  Why do you give to UWF Athletics?
I give back to UWF Athletics because I am grateful for all that they have given me during my time as a student-athlete. I was fortunate enough to meet incredible people, see new places and make phenomenal memories along the way. I feel passionately about making the student-athlete experience even better than my own.

·  Why do you continue to give annually?
Although I cannot give a lot, I believe that small and continual gifts add up. Having been a student-athlete and now working administratively for the university, I see the need for annual gifts to different funds. I am proud to have played and won a National Championship, I hope that my small contributions will help them to their next one. 

·  What impact do you think your annual donations have on the UWF Athletic Department?
I hope that my annual gifts help ease the financial burdens to the program and those that are involved. I hope that my gifts make it easier for the program to continue competing at a high level while looking good in their Nike gear!

·  As a former student-athlete, what did donor support mean to you?
Donor support meant a lot to my teammates and I. It ensured that we could continue studying and playing the sport that we loved by receiving scholarships.

·  What makes you passionate about UWF Athletics?
I am passionate about UWF because though we do not have the biggest programs nor are we the wealthiest school, we work hard. At the end of the day the village behind UWF Athletics works hard for eachother which makes it easy to buy in.

·  Anything else you'd like to add?
To my Coaches: Thank you for teaching me life lessons that I will take through life. I appreciate you taking a chance on the 'local Florida kid' from Niceville. 
 
To Current and Future players: Your time as a student-athlete will FLY by! Cherish every moment and remember the lines of other athletes that want to be in your shoes. Perfect your skill while having fun and making memories. 
 
All in all: Thank you to everyone from administrative staff, coaches, and teammates for making my time at UWF so memorable. Thank you for your support on and off the field. My time as an Argo was life changing, now let's continue to build champions for LIFE, one dollar at a time!
