Alex Oliver hit .577 and pounded out 16 kills as the No. 11 UWF women's volleyball team defeated West Georgia, 3-1, in its first conference road match of the season Friday.
Now 10-3 on the season and 2-0 in GSC play the Argonauts were able to use their balanced attack for a 25-13, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21 win.

The Argos offensive paced them throughout the match as they had four players who recorded nine kills or more - Oliver 16,
Camila Vazquez 10,
Avery Rodgers 9 and
Jenna Zydlo 9. That Argos offense went on to out-hit the Wolves .333 to .142 over the four set match.
Senior
Taylor Vaneekeren, continues her stellar collegiate career as she notched eight digs which moves her to 996 all-time and four away from becoming only the second player ever in school history to record 1,000 digs and 3,000 assists for a career.
Ana Oro finished with a match-high 27 digs, which are also the most in a match in the GSC this season.
UWF returns to action on Saturday as they head to Montgomery, Alabama tomorrow to face off against Auburn Montgomery at 2 p.m. at the AUM Gymnasium.
