Why do you give to UWF Athletics?
To provide additional support that can assist with the many essentials associated with university athletics; such as scholarships, recruitment, team uniforms and apparel, team travel, facilities upgrade and maintenance and equipment. By giving, my hope is that my contribution will assist in fostering a culture and environment of care, diversity, respect and excellence that will allow our student athletics to grow, play, live and learn to their potential.
Why do you continue to give annually?
To provide funding support that will allow our athletic teams to have a competitive edge, and to display my sincere gratitude for their passion and commitment our student-athletes have toward Argo Athletics.
What would you say is the best thing about being a donor to UWF athletics?
The feeling of being a part of something special, and knowing that I am assisting in promoting our student-athletes' achievements on the fields, courts, in the classrooms and in the community.
What makes you passionate about UWF Athletics?
I am addicted to and passionate about sports. I like watching them, talking about them and playing them. I am very competitive by nature, and always try to be the best version of myself. It is this same passion that I have towards Argo Athletics and the many benefits it has on our student-athletes and University. I enjoy watching Argo team sports, no matter the outcome, and believe that athletics provide life lessons that can be very beneficial to all involved.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I've been a part of the UWF family for many years, and some of my fondest memories revolve around Argo Athletics. Whether it's intercollegiate or intramural sports, I admire the culture and environment that athletics adds to the University community. Go Argos!
