PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The University of West Florida women's soccer team fell in the quarterfinals of the GSC Tournament to West Alabama, Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers found a goal in the 107
th minute off a ricochet that secured a victory. The Tigers will head to Huntsville, Ala. next weekend for the GSC Semifinals.

Through all 90 minutes of regulation, the Argos controlled the game. UWF out shot the Tigers 12-2 in the first half and 11-2 in the second half. Including overtime, the Argos had an 11-5 shot on goal edge over West Alabama.

UWF saw multiple close opportunities. Three shots connected with the post, including a shot that hit the crossbar, but none could fall through.

The Argos held the Tigers to no corner kicks, whereas, UWF recorded 18.

The Argos were led by
Isabela Labovic with eight shots.
Emilie Dueck Doerkesen,
Emma Beltz and
Julia Comin followed with four apiece.

Five Argo players added 110 minutes to their names and never stepped foot off the pitch.

Maciah Lipsey tallied four saves and increased her total to 33 on the season.

UWF will be looking for an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will occur after the completion of all Division II conference tournaments.
