INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-
After four days of competition, the No. 9 West Florida Swimming and Diving team is in 10th place with 110 points.

Brooke Simila earned All-American Honorable Mention honors for placing sixteenth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.46. This is her first time earning All-American status in her collegiate career.

The UWF divers had quite a day with two athletes finishing in the top-eight and two more finishing in the top-16. Olivia Nelson finished sixth with a score of 429.00 points followed by Daniela Reyes in seventh with 419.55 points. Reyes earned First Team All-American status in this event last year as she finished seventh with a score of 423.30. This will be her fourth year earning All-American honors. She received All-American status on Wednesday on the 1-meter boards as she came in fourth place.

Michelle Mejia and Jade Fontenelle finished eleventh (411.70) and sixteenth (387.00) on the 1-meter boards, respectively. The divers totaled 73 points to add to the team score.

"This is an amazing group of ladies," said head diving coach Barbara Parkers. "Today's 3-meter event showed that we are a versatile team with several strong divers. Tonight, we celebrate Dani as she finishes her diving career. Her leadership has been one reason that the program is so strong.  Moving forward, I'm excited to see what is next."

Competition on Saturday will feature the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, and 1650 free. The prelims will begin at 10 a.m. (EST) followed by finals at 6 p.m. (EST).
