Donor Spotlight: Dr. Crystal Bennett

Dr. Crystal Bennett is the definition of an Argo. She received a bachelors in nursing from UWF, and then later pursuing her Master's and PhD in nursing as well. Dr. Bennett returned to her alma mater, UWF, to become the Director and Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice where she teaches across the Nursing programs. She has taught many student-athletes along the way and is a loyal donor to UWF Athletics. We are so thankful to have Dr. Bennett as a part of the Argonaut Athletic Club!

Why do you give to UWF Athletics?
I've had the privilege to teach student athletes and respect their commitment to their academic studies and their team.

Why do you continue to give annually?
We give annually to ensure current and future athletes have monetary support to pursue their education.

What would you say is the best thing about being a donor to UWF athletics?
Definitely the phone calls and cards from athletes. Just hearing "thank you for being a donor" from a player means a lot to me.

What makes you passionate about UWF Athletics?
My children have attended UWF sports camps and the athletes and coaches have always been welcoming. Plus, I love softball and football!

What is an experience with UWF Athletics that you have enjoyed?
We really enjoy the "Bark at the Park" event softball hosts each season.
