PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The University of West Florida baseball team's streak continues after taking a 7-1 win in their final Friday home game of the regular season.
 
Dalton Neuschwander got the win after holding the Tigers to five hits and one unearned run. He pitched his second complete game of the season and remains undefeated at 8-0.
 
UWF had a slight 3-2 edge in hits heading into the fifth inning.
 
True Fontenot led off the fifth frame with an outfield single. Trent Jeffcoat drove Fontenot in with an RBI double. Preston Moore capped the scoring with an RBI double to give the Argos a 2-0 lead.
 
West Alabama scored a run in the top of the sixth unearned. Kyle Volger reached base by an Argonaut error and was driven in to score two batters later.
 
The Argos responded with four runs on three hits in the seventh inning. Jackson Grabsky began the four-run scoring with an RBI single. Jadon Fryman finished it off with a three-run homer to extend the lead to 6-1. This was Fryman's third homerun of the season.
 
UWF added their seventh and final run in the bottom half of the eighth, scoring on a wild pitch.
 
Five Argonauts knocked two hits each to contribute to the teams 14 total hits.
 
The Argos and Tigers will finish the series with a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at Jim Spooner Field. Eight UWF seniors will be recognized at 12:40 p.m.
