Emma Beltz contributed an insurance goal to soar over the Choctaws (1-1-1 overall, 0-1 GSC), 3-1.
Â
Okada scored back-to-back goals within four minutes of each other early in the first half. The opening goal was a great team effort of quick passes around the Choctaw defense. Before Okada's shot,
Mya Swinton gained possession in the middle of the keeper box and passed it off to Okada who hit a nice left foot, one touch finish.
Â
Four minutes later, Okada received the ball at the halfway line. Seeing the Choctaw goalkeeper out of her box, the midfielder chipped the ball 40 yards out and sunk her second goal of the game. This is the second time this season Okada scored two goals in one game.
Â
Mississippi College closed the Argo gap to 2-1 in the 40
th minute.
Â

th minute.
Emilie Dueck Doerkesen received the ball on the sideline. With pace, she out dribbled her defender and attacked the keeper box. Forward
Emma Beltz joined Dueck in the attack. Dueck laid off an easy ball in front of the goal for Beltz to tap in and extend to a 3-1 lead.
Â
UWF outshot their opponent once again 15-5. Seven shots hit on goal – Okada and defender
Bailey Erwig led with two apiece.
